Almost 30 years ago, I had a counselor who, in her quiet presence, deep listening, and unconditional acceptance, gave more to me than did any other helping professional I have ever worked with. This early experience inspired me to study Co-Counseling, Compassionate Communication and, later, life coaching. After working as a life coach for a few years and after experiencing the death of a close friend who did not have adequate support at the end of her life, I felt increasingly drawn to end-of-life issues and became a hospice volunteer and later, a hospice volunteer coordinator and bereavement coordinator. In 2018, as an outgrowth of my interest in supporting those who are grieving or facing death, I began studying with Coaching at End of Life and am now certified in this area. I consider being compassionately present for those who are navigating the path of grief or the end of their own lives to be sacred work, and I would be honored to walk with you.
